Recently, I won a pair of Flexi Flats from the giveaway hosted by fellow makeup bloggers, Lisamarie and Christelle at Beauty Crazed. I was super lucky to have won this. Thank you Lisamarie and Christelle! The shoes were mailed to me quickly from the company.
According to the company,
FlexiFlats are emergency fold-up ballet flats designed to give your feet a well-deserved break from high-heels. These little saviours will give you a few extra hours on the dance floor or a more comfortable commute home.
Four sizes were available:
- SMALL - USA 5/6 - EUR 36/37 - UK 3/4 - JAP 22/23
- MEDIUM USA 7/8 - EUR 38/40 - UK 5/6 - JAP 24/25
- LARGE - USA 9/10 - EUR 41/42 - UK 7/8 - JAP 26/27
- XL USA 11/12 - EUR 43/44 - UK 9/10 - JAP 28/29
Without further ado, I present....the FLEXI FLATS!

Black faux leather pouch (front)
Back of the cute little pouch, pretty STUFFED though
Unzipping to reveal the silver flats...
This is what the flat looks like when you first take it out from the pouch.
Ta Da~ On my feet, they look kinda cute.
Side way as I was sitting down. However as a size 7, the medium is too big for me (yes medium was supposed to be for size 7-8). It is about 1-1.5cm longer than my feet.
This is how it looks with me standing...
What's fun and practical about the carry pouch is that it can be turned into a little bag, much like a shopping tote but only smaller. I found it nicer to transform the pouch into tote because you can keep the flats unfolded and flat.
Another look at the flats when they are out of the pouch. You can see the new flats still retain the folds.
The sole has the Flexi Flats logo and the size label.
Pros
- Light weight and very travel/purse friendly
- Convertible carry pouch/tote
Cons
- thin sole, not very supportive (but for emergency purpose, can't complain much)
- size is limited. Also the recommended medium for size 7 actually turns out to be too big on me.
- Fabric is slightly thin. I can see my toes sticking out and stretching the flats a bit.
Price
- CDN $13.9 + shipping (standard $8 or express $23)
Overall: I like the idea but would pretty better quality flats. It is definitely a great thing to have but slightly on the pricier side. I actually saw similar products at Rexall PharmaPlus for about $25 and Gap USD $40. Out of these, I probably would go for the Gap version since they have more sizes and the quality is better.
